Working with us

What size of organisation do you work with?

Mostly teams of 50 to 5,000 people: retailers, healthcare providers, credit unions, charities and local government. If you have data and a decision to make, we can usually help.

Do you work on site?

Where it helps, yes. Our studio is in Cuffley, just north of London, and we are happy to work from your office for workshops and handovers. Most build work happens remotely.

How quickly can you start?

A discovery sprint can usually start within two weeks of a signed agreement. Larger projects depend on scope, and we will give you a start date in the proposal.

Who owns the work you produce?

You do. Code, models, documentation and dashboards are handed over in your accounts, and we write down how everything works so your team can run it without us.

Data and privacy

How do you handle personal data?

We follow UK GDPR. We only access what the project needs, work inside your environment where possible, and agree a data processing agreement before we start. Personal data is masked or aggregated unless a task requires otherwise.

Where is our data stored?

Wherever you already keep it. We do not copy client data into our own systems. If a project needs a new warehouse, we set it up in a UK or EU region in your cloud account.

Do your analysts sign confidentiality agreements?

Yes. Everyone at Median & Moss is bound by a confidentiality agreement, and we can sign yours as well.

Tools and delivery

Which tools do you use?

We work with what you have: BigQuery, Snowflake, Postgres, dbt, Python, Power BI, Looker and Excel. We recommend new tools only when the old ones are the problem.

Will we understand the results?

That is the main job. Every report ends with a plain-English summary, and we keep the method visible so you can check the working.

What happens when the project ends?

We run a handover session, leave documentation, and stay on call for a month. Many clients then move to a lighter monthly support arrangement.
